There is someone there with (at least 1) Rochelle, and they are asking $35 for her

Considering she is only $20 in stores, and just came out, I am assuming this is a scalper.

I’m not willing to pay almost twice what the doll would be if I found her in store. Wish i could be there, so I could bring this up.

I’d offer $25, but not 35. She’s NEW - I SHOULD be able to find her in stores. She is not older and harder to find in-stock. The only reason she is harder to find is because of people like this.

technically it’s a toy show/ comic book thing.

I’m hoping to find dolls comic book places have had for some time, and don’t realize their value.

I’m hoping to find a basic Clawdeen and Holt.

Plus it should be fun to look around.

Good luck :) You will probably have more luck with individual collectors than those from comic shops - most comic shops don’t have contracts with Mattel, and Diamond Select doesn’t sell monster high dolls, so they would either have had to buy the dolls and hold on to them, which is not very lucrative for business, or it will be individual collectors who purchased them, kept them in box, and are now willing to sell.
