Heya, do you have a link to a tutorial on how to do boil perms? I think I understand the basic Idea, I just want to make sure on some of the details--and I also want to give Clawdeen a little natural-hair tight curl! ;o)
Hey :D I actually did not use a tutorial o.o I just used bobby pins and twisted the hair around them (you can see a pic of it on my page).
Once you’ve done that, just boil water, and dunk the head in lol. I dunk the hair 2-3 times for about 10 seconds each, and then let it dry completely (i’m really impatient, so I use a blowdryer).
Un-curl the hair from the pins (and I cut off the ends since they were kinda frizzy and still straight), and then it is in really pretty, chunky curls.
Then brush it out - it’s gonna be really frizzy.
If you want it less frizzy, run the hair under water and make sure you get it really wet and kinda run your fingers in it and rub it (won’t run completely through). This will let some of the hair re-chunk, and will help de-frizz it.
Let it dry again, and tada!
